The Client
A leading London based Waste & Resource Management Company are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

Purpose and Responsibilities
Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their North London Offices. The Accounts Assistants main responsibility will be to predominantly assistant the Purchase Ledger. Ideally candidates will have previous experience in working with systems such as or similar to Syrinx or Tas. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9AM to 5.30PM and Salary will be negotiable dependent on candidate’s experience.

Day to day tasks will include:

  • Process PDB invoices with purchase orders and write on the contracts the invoice information and sent emails to suppliers when queries and chasing for statements and missing invoices.
  • File tip tickets and delivery notes
  • File invoices and label folders
  • File contracts
  • File PDB invoices
  • Send credit card payment authority forms to customers

Essential Experiences

  • Experience as an Accounts Assistant/Data Entry Clerk/Purchase ledger – Minimum of 1 year
  • An understanding of the Waste Management or Plant Hire Industry will be advantageous
  • Experience working with systems such as Syrinx or Tas will be advantageous
  • Ability to Negotiate effectively with clients of all levels
  • Ability Network and build lasting business relationships
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Numerate with good analytical skills and commercially adapt
