Our Client

A leading Waste Management and Recycling Compliance services provider.

Role Purpose

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic Customer Services professional to join their close knit team based in Harborough. As Customer Services Executive you will be responsible for retaining the existing client based by being the first line of contact as well as developing relationships and advising new clients on WEEE, Packaging and Compliance Services.

Specific tasks/responsibilities:

  • Front line point of contact for members into the scheme, with own responsibility for some specific small accounts.
  • Handling queries from the membership in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Develop understanding of relevant regulations to enable quality member advice on regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Maintenance of scheme email accounts, including sending of bulk mail outs, and involvement in creating communications.
  • Co-ordination of member events and participation in carrying out presentations at quarterly data clinics.
  • Work closely alongside colleagues and managers to collectively provide the highest standard of customer service.
  • Participate in member retention and membership growth through engagement activities.
  • Participate in data rounds, working to strict deadlines, collecting member data submissions for registration with regulatory bodies. Check and query data to satisfy the scheme that information submitted is accurate.
  • Undertake audits of member’s data/obligations. To primarily include desk audits, with a few member visits.
  • Maintenance of member information and contacts on the customer management system, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met in terms of record keeping and changes.
  • Participate in team administrative duties, such as processing of member applications, new member set up and registrations.

Person Specification

You’ll also have:

  • Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop good technical knowledge of producer responsibility legislation and how this affects scheme members
  • Excellent customer-focussed approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Presentation skills, articulate
  • Inclusive team-working attitude
  • Self motivated and organised with the ability to multi-task
  • Good depth of MS Word and Excel technical knowledge

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Administration/Office Experience: 2 Years
  • Customer Services Experience: 2 Years
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence: 1 year
