Commercial Manager (metal recycling)
Our client a Metal recycling company is looking for a Commercial Manager to pursue new business, bid on new contracts and ensure the retention of existing customer contracts, whilst ensuring profitability.
Identify opportunities to expand the business, including through partnerships, mergers and new markets,
Analyse sales, marketing, finance and other reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximise growth,
Develop accurate and consistent bids with the help of relevant departments,
Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing client.
Must have at least 3 years of experience in business development, customer management, sales or related field.
Experience in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials is (preferable but not essential)
Strong communication, sales and presentation skills,
Ability to multitask and prioritise projects,
Superb negotiation capabilities,
Must be team-focused and results focused,
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
