Purpose and Responsibilities

Ace recruitment currently has a fantastic career opportunity for a Sales Professional with a background in Recycling and Resource Management to join a company that actively invests in their staff. As the Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for the developing long term relationships with customers and overseeing sales for our clients closed loop and circular economy office supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, providing solutions and resolving conflict in a timely manner, to achieve long term success
  • Generate new business, using existing and potential customer networks
  • Act as the point of contact to handle customers’ individual needs
  • Set, track and report on sales account targets and sales metrics
  • Suggest and implement actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Supervise account representatives to ensure sales growth

Person Specification

  • A proven history of working to and delivering targets that achieve growth.
  • The ability to deliver an excellent customer experience across a range of industries.
  • A self-starter, with excellent business acumen and problem-solving attitude; you won’t be afraid to handle difficult situations with customers.
  • Very good knowledge and working experience of CRM software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to handle pressured situations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least three years’ experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably selling office supplies or closed loop/circular economy products.
