The Client

A well respected and established Aggregates and Recycling Company operating across the UK.

Purpose and Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Representative to join our clients Leading Aggregates Company. The successful candidate will be working with the rest of our clients Sales team with the primary responsibility to generate new business for our client’s aggregates services by way of prospecting and networking.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Identifying buyers and potential customers and promoting the services of the company to secure orders
  • Covering the designated area thoroughly through field sales and carry out systematic ground surveys
  • To be aware of forthcoming work and ensure quotations are submitted
  • Record and pursue all potential sales outlets
  • Keep full and accurate records of sales progress through the ‘Jobs Let’ procedure
  • Preparing monthly sales reports

Person Specification

You’ll also have:

  • Good working knowledge of the Aggregate and Mixed Concrete Industry
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible and proactive attitude
  • Business Development and Bid/Tendering Experience
  • Ability to work on your own and self-manage wisely to the benefit of the company whilst being a team player

Required experience:

  • Business to Business Sales: 3 Years
  • Mixed Concrete and Aggregates Industry Experience: 2 Years

Required licence or certification:

  • A full, clean UK Driving Licence
